The event will explore the key developments in data sharing policies that affect the financial sector and possibilities for data driven innovation. This includes examining the opportunities and challenges of the European Commission’s proposal for a Data Act and discussing the path towards an Open Finance proposal. In addition to the EU, other jurisdictions have also been taking steps towards Open Banking, Open Finance and data sharing across sectors more generally; the event will analyze the different approaches and how they compare to those at the European level and if there can be lessons learned.
